The National Honor Society elevates a school’s commitment to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. These four pillars have been associated with membership in the organization since its inception in 1921. Chapter membership not only recognizes students for their accomplishments, but challenges them to develop further through active involvement in school activities and community service.
All meetings are held in the Auxiliary Gym at lunch on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, except May, which is the 1st Tuesday of the month.
The Induction/Senior Honor Cord Ceremony will be held on TBA in the Performing Arts Center. Please plan on attending with your family. We will also install officers for the 2020-2021 school year.

Does my school attendance affect my acceptance to and status in NHS?
Yes. Your school attendance must be good. Students that are on the chronically absent list will first receive a warning that their attendance is below standards. Appearing on the chronically absent list a second time may result in removal from NHS.
